Would the S1's have held us back? I am not sure, I have never used them on a dual AVCS car. I knew this build was going to make north of 500whp which is what Greg @ GSC specs the limit of the S1's at. I have a feeling the owner will bring this car back in a couple months for a race gas tune once he gets used to the pump gas power. At that point I anticipate a minimum of 600whp although I don't want to push it that far with 100mm pistons and stock sleeves.

I have a car that will be done pretty soon with GSC S3's + ported heads + sleeves + AEM EMS, the same turbo and race gas. Shooting for close to 700whp.

When selecting engine parts just be honest with the intended use. You cannot go wrong with the GSC cams S1, S2, or S3. They are top of the line.
