I'm needing this info too. I'm trying to extract it from the factory manual, but am finding the going tough. It shows output to the tacho as a big arrow from a "Micro computer" in the combination meter (cluster). I've collated what I could (2009 MY Impreza), and from what I see, it seems to correspond reasonably well to your image.
