I'm with Scotty - if the Falken ST115s are comparable to the Kumho 712s, get the SZ50EPs hands down. The 712s are nothing to write home to Mom about, and the SZ50EPs will run circles around them.

Hell, even if the ST115s are better than the 712s, I still say get the SZ50EPs. They really are great, great tires. I had the original (non EP) SZ50s on my Mustang, and was so impressed with them that I got them (the EP version) for the Subaru, too. I got somewhere around 33,000 miles out of them on the Subaru, and I'm far from a gentle driver. They never saw any auto-x action, and only saw one day on track (a rainy day at Watkins Glen). They're quiet, smooth-riding, great in wet or dry, wear well, and look pretty cool, too. I never noticed any noise problems with them, and I wore them down into the wear bars before I replaced them.
