I argued an article from tire rack, not a legal disclaimer.

The bottom line is nobody is wrong here. I think the original point I tried to make many posts ago crawdad stated himself. The different tires are going to have different wear ratios and will sooner or later result in problems. (next time I'll save my arguments for when I'm not working )

Bottom line, I don't think it's a good idea to run different treads at once. Esp. on an STI that has VTD. I just feel it's excess wear on the diffs as the tires are going to have different grip levels. And I don't think it matters if you're pulling hard or not, I feel that one set is going to be sticker, provide different resistance, work differently in the wet, on sand...etc.
