Ummm...what the hell do you think a recone is?

Dont listen to these people...a VC is most certainly repairable...you just have to get a new one. Usualy you can reorder a recone from the company that made the sub, or there are other companies that do several different brands of sub. A recone almost always comes with a new surround, spider, and voice coil along with the tinsel leads. Some even come with the glue you need to reatach the cone and everything. Many companies will even recone a sub for you if you send it to them

The only problem is, is that it is usually not worth it. You have to decide if the sub you have is even worth fixing. More than likley, you could spend a bit more cash and buy a brand new sub instead of repairing one that borke in the first place.
