Simple Green + as little water as possible =

my advice:

1. If you have and aftermarket short ram intake; put a plastic bag over it, and the same for an atmospheric BOV (which are stupid). Put a generous amount of simple green on the engine bay, let it soak for about 10 minutes. Then spray the engine bay with as little water as possible to get it clean.

2. If you are for the most part stock (intake...) then spritz the engine with degreaser, let it soak for 10 minutes, then turn the engine on and start spraying the engine with as little water as needed paying close attention to avoid the intake. this way, if it starts to make any unfamiliar noises, you can stop immediately instead of accidentally doing any sort of damage.

oooh almost forgot, DO NOT SPRAY NEAR COIL PACKS... you can burn them out and they are not cheap
