This. It takes as much, if not more, work and planning to fit wide wheels on a low car as it does to slap an STi take-off turbo and IC on a WRX and call it quick. It's not just slap on some cheap coils, XXRs with tiny tires and call it good (which I agree is stupid). To do it right, you have to do the proper fender work, understand how suspension components interact with each other, and do a lot of trial and error.
