Actually, housings that are offset is what's illegal. You can offset the bushing in a stock housing however you want because you're not changing the pickup point. The issue is the anti lift kits offset the housing itself but leave the bushing centered. The kit I posted (and I haven't looked at TiC's kit) are legal as the housing is the same, but the bushing is moved so that it relocates the rear of the control arm.

I've been running the Whiteline race bushing for several years now in the max caster position and it seems to be holding up ok.
