Default Spun Bearing...Rebuild.

So I got an early Christmas present on the 19th of December...Some crazy rod knock and I'm assuming its a spun bearing. Its in a local shop being disassembled at the moment.

If it is a spun bearing I have a couple of options:
1. If its salvageable...stick with the 2.0l block.
2. Swap to a 2.5l sti block and stick with the 2.0l heads.

I would like to go with the hybrid setup and I need some opinions on what else to upgrade while the engine is out, I'm thinking I might go with some Brian Crower "stage 2" camshafts (272/272) with springs/retainers for some added flow.
*I'm assuming all the stock valves weren't touched and are still ok.

Right now the car is rom raided for intake, l/w crank pulley, gt spec uel headers, catless uppipe and a catless tbe. Everything else is stock on the ej205...yes that means the mitsu td04 is still in there and I know it needs to go haha.
I'm using a ACT "modified" organic clutch disk w/ streetlite flywheel too (about a year old).

So give me some opinions!

Thanks,
dub
