My oil pressure I would say is a little lower than a normal 2.5Ltr. I run the Rotella 15W40 like Ron requests you do and I rev to 7500RPM's all day long. At 7K in 3rd I hit about 65psi (oil pressure) I idle at 900RPM's and about 16-18 psi.

P&L knows how to work with Ron's setups and they installed a Cosworth 12MM High Volume Performance Oil Pump.

I think the issue is not going with a better oil pump like the Cosworth line. I am willing to bet either the failed engines were the clients not listening to Ron's suggestions or not running a better flowing oil pump. I'm not saying anything other than everyone that I know that has listened to Ron and how to get the most out of his builds has had great success and enjoyment. Even with all the issues I run into on other things, I love the AXIS motor. It can take everything I can dish out and thats all I was looking for.
