Well sod it... heres goes nothing

Frayz's 2002 STI Version 7 Prodrive Edition

***Only 750 Prodrive editions ever made*** ***Only 100 ever made in O8V Blue/Black mica***

Well at the tender age of 21 after owning my Ford sierra saphire cosworth for 2 years it was time to move on. The car was of reasonable stage 3 spec and was running 350+bhp.
It was my pride and joy and an absolute thrill to own and drive. I was offered the right money at the right time and the cossie finally had to go.

Now obviously i had the major task of filling the cosworths shoes. I wanted something newer, better built and basically the most for my money.
Having explored the likes of escort cossies, evos and skylines etc. I finally decided i wanted a Subaru. These represented the best value for money
I did what homework i could and it came down to a bugeye STI.

I wanted the 6 speed box, brembos etc... but above all it had to be black.

After a month or so of searching id found the car. It was based in Essex and was a totally standard, unmarked black Prodrive edition bugeye sti. She had one owner from new FSSH and only 21K on the clock.
The guy i bought it from was a city trader and used the train everyday. For this reason he simply didnt use the car enough and decided to sell.

After a few negotiations i was lucky enough to drive home with this.

The day after i picked it up.

Well 2.5 years later ive just taken the car off of the road to have the motor out and finally put in a built 2.5. The new motor with forged internals should be plenty strong enough to cope with some big boost and hard use whilst still maintaining good road manners and drivability. The target is 450+bhp but more importantly over 500lbsft of torque. Reliability is also a big factor given the cars usage, so I have tried to over engineer as many items on the new build as possible.

My new engine build, waiting to be put together... should be in by the end of August 08

My car has been slowly built into a road/track inspired Nurburgring attack vehicle. Ive taken many insipations from the RS ford scene and even some from you guys here on the NASIOC.
Paulie, D Money to name but a few have inspired me to push the envelope here in the UK and just do the stuff you wouldnty normally see over here.

Besides my tuning and geometry, all work on the car has been done by myself.

Its no trailor, garaged show queen.. it gets used hard and driven every week.

Heres my current spec list, i hope you guys like it as much as i do.
