Default Cylinder #2 Misfire + Running Like Crap

hey guys,

I ran into a problem yesterday. Coming home from work, I overestimated it seems, how much gas I had in my tank (I usually go by mileage and I thought I had enough.. but I guess being the winter season has compromised my Fuel Economy). Fuel light usually goes on way early, but I guess this time it was accurate. Strange though, bc the needle wasn't even on E In any case, engine started bogging, check engine light came on + loss of power so I pulled over. Checked everything... figured it was just low on gas. Still started up no problem, just running like *****...so tried to limp it to the nearest gas station. Needless to say, I didn't make it. I decided to pull over/park early on vs having it die on me in the middle of the street. Had my pops pick me up with the gascan, filled it up with 4 gallons or so of premium then took it back to my car for fueling. Started her up and she still ran like ****, better than before but still bogging + loss of power. Could hear intermittent knock + misfiring + blinking check engine light. Engine oil level was at half so I added a quart of 5W30 synthetic. Sucks that I was in the middle of nowhere + the local gas station only had some no name brand . Usually use Pennzoil Synthetic. 200 miles away from my next oil change (3k mark). Managed to limp the car home & pulled the codes with my Accessport.

P0320 - Cylinder #2 Misfire
PFFFF -misc cobb error code
PFFFE -misc cobb error code

so cleared the codes to see if that would help... still running like ***** and clearly there's a misfire. No CEL atm probably bc I haven't ran the car since I cleared the codes.

I'm thinking since I ran low on fuel, probably picked up the sludgey goodness at the bottom of the tank + ran lean = fouled plugs , clogged injector, or maybe just a bad coilpack. I read up on a few things and ppl said I should swap coilpacks to see if the code follows the coilpack. Idk how to do that . & same with the fouled plugs. I've never touched the plugs on this car (not familiar with the boxer motor... have only dealt with inline 4's & 6's in my mechanical history). Is Plug #2 the hard one to get to? They were changed about 15k miles ago when I got my 60k service done (at 77k ). And in terms of the injectors.. guess I wouldn't know unless I got them flow tested / checked. Hopefully it's something easy to fix... the one thing that concerns me is this intermittent "tapping" or clicking coming from the driver's side front of the motor.. like behind the timing belt cover. Very intermittent, not continuous either at idle or under throttle. It's possible it was there before and i never noticed it but i definitely notice it now. Engine shakes a lot now with the misfire so idk if that's a contributing factor. Hope to God it's not a timing issue.

In any case, any input would be greatly appreciated. This is the first "major" problem i've ever had with the car since I've owned it. Hopefully it'll be a simple enough fix.

thanks for your time everyone!!
