Anywhere in the normal driving speed ranges the supermoto 400 will be faster. Its a 100lb lighter bike that is geared more aggressively. Actually I am pretty sure they are within 2-3whp of one another as well. The 650 is larger, but the 400 is a higher performance motor for its size, so the power output is a lot closer than you would think.

It won't matter with mine, I already have the 39mm FCR sitting here, a pipe on the way and cams won't be too far off. BB kit next year and I should be putting right around 50whp down on a 300lb bike. WAY more than enough for a supermoto. I can't think of any good reason to have more than that.
