If you drive slow you shouldn't have a problem with any puddles under 6 inches deep.

Maybe not hydrolock but water a small amount of water can still mess up the Sensor. Just letting the OP know a potential issue if flooding is an issue in their area. Driving slow is the key but takes away the fun in drivng in the rain... though I still prefer the AEM
