My friend recently upgraded his stage 2 WRX to stage 4.
AP VF34 map VF34 ported JDM STi TMIC Perrin turbo inlet Borla header catless TBE Uppipe Stock intake Stock T-hose and "pill" from TD04 Now, problem is that he's only able to hit 12psi at max... that's what's read on AP live meter and defi boost gauge. Can someone point to where he should look as far as fixing the boost problem? He doesn't hear any whining or high pitch sounds which would point to potential leak problem... Your help is appreciated. |

I'd point him to a protuner to have a custom map made for those extra parts he's running. Unless he wants to take them off and get back to Cobb's spec.
He'll make more power with a tune, way more. |

over ported turbo, pre turbo exhaust leak, or weak wastegate. try a helper spring and check for leaks

data log. see if your ECU is hanging the WG open at 100%. I'd bet on a boost leak somewhere. See the EM forum sticky's for the DIY leak finder.
