Post Might have to look at different suspension setup...

I notice that Sugar (Lisa) in the Vendor Classifieds has FHI springs and struts for a great price. Do these fit our cars? I'm thinking it will indeed make sense to get a matched strut/spring set. I know that the FHI (v5) struts fit Leg GTs, but I'm not sure about the springs.

Essentially, while I think my car handles fantastically, and absolutely LOVE the way it looks, I do worry about ride height/practicality, and slightly scraping the bottom every time I pull into my garage.

So as long as I have disposable income to fling about, I might as well get a perfect setup in terms of handling and ride height.

Depending upon how this is resolved, there might be a very lightly used set of Eibach Legacy springs/KYB AGXs available for a killer price...

Kevin - the V5 springs WILL NOT WORK w/ our Legacys. Do you have a pic of the Eibach Pro-Kit w/ the V5's? I will be installing the V5's w/ H&R's on my '98 Legacy L in a week or so. w/ about 1-2" of lowering, it's still practical, even here in Calgary (where we see upto 3 feet of snow at times. (speaking of the devil, there is a snow storm here right now, at least 3inches of snow in the last 4hrs).

Gotcha, thanks GTBGUY, on the spring tip. Bummer. I might have to return to the stock springs, and investigate Ground Controls or something. I'll have to see. Right now I'm just having a great time, though.

Meanwhile, got the rotors...GREAT!! I'll probably do some of the CF composite pads for the time being, that SPO has, along with their stainless line kit.

Oh. The struts I'm running are the KYB AGXs. The only concern I have, going with the stock springs until I figure something out, is the mismatched damping. Hmmmm.
