Launch Control & Flat shifting acts like a rev limiter

I have launch control set up and working just fine. But when I turn on flat shifting in motion, my launch control setting acts like a rev limiter all the time. Doesn’t matter if the clutch is in or out.

I did not expect not being able to drive the tack beyond the launch control rpm setting when driving normally.

I expected the flat shifting/launch control rpm setting to kick in only when the clutch is pressed in motion

Is this normal not to be able to rev past the launch control rpm setting when turning on the flat shifting in motion setting?

Does it have anything to do with I/O settings low priority vs. high priority?

The flat foot shift will not work on a Subaru unless you have the Element Tuning Accessory Wiring Harness. It will over rev during shifts otherwise.
