he dropped the clutch, you dont do that. end of story. BTW he def didnt get warrenty'd. even without the exhuast any real suby tech will know when someone does a clutch drop.

It's called feathering your clutch. Then you don't have to hit the rev limiter to keep it from stalling when you launch, and you don't break ish.

who's saying anything even remotely like that?

we're saying you don't launch like that- obviously- because it breaks ****. you can launch without breaking stuff, and you can have fun with the car without launching it, so i don't really know what you're on about. no one said anything like 'you're not allowed to have fun with your car' and furthermore there are better ways to have fun with an STI than clutch-dropping in a manner that will break crap in the tranny.

going fast in an sti is fun, but that guy isn't very good at driving.
