News Forester Sports in at Conti

So, i go to pick up my STi bumper from conti yesterday and Phil asks me if i saw the forester sports. I knew they would get one eventually. But i gotta tell you, im not impressed at all. The seats are crappy, and the only thing i can tell different is the front bumper/grille and the roof rack delete. This model is far from the japanese "cross sports edition" this is more or less a TR of the wrx world. Since subaru only offers a turbo in the FXT limited, this is a slightly cheaper way to get the forester turbo.

Phil, i forgot to check the price, what is conti asking for it?

Anyway, check it out if you like, let me know what you think.

I bet you would be all over it if it looked like this. This is basically a Forester STI with Left hand drive and cloth interior.

I love the ride height!!!

hells yea I would, because all i would have to do for the sti conversion would be scoop, wheels, and turbo. and stickers too i guess.

That is what i was referring to as the "cross sports" from japan. That is kick ass. The forester sports at conti and everywhere in america is lame IMO.

I might buy it over my XT ltd, but the wife like leather, sunroof, all the power stuff.
but only cuz of price, roof rack delete and bumper is already painted

Actually, that sports concept is very close to the STi. The only difference is the turbo i think.
That concept that Ralph linked to us has the forester xt beat by:
-VDC
-6 speed
-STI TMIC
-STi 10 spoke wheels
-HID's
-smoke tail lights
-STi Lip
-STi Seats
-Brembo Brakes
-STi later links, sway bars, pink springs

I would definetly buy it!

But what would the price be?

More than likely the same price as a WRX STi. One hot car, it would sell just as well if not better than the WRX STi. Hope they make it, everyone has been waiting for the Forester STi to come to America.

i pdi'd that sports model, on the test drive the vdc was very impressive. and what a bonus it has an off switch

i was hoping it would get the 5eat, or at least autostick. but i still think its a teaser to test the market for sti...
