Driver's window stopped working

Today my driver's window stopped working. I can hear the switch's relay clicking, but the window isn't moving. Any idea? Anyone had same problem? I have 20,000 miles on the clock. Is it still under warranty?

it's definitely under warranty. bring it to the guys at Marin Subaru, they've been really great dealing with my mom's electrical problems on her 98 Forester

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago... took it in and the dealer fixed it under warranty. It only took about an hour. They claim a wire came loose in the door.

My window on the drivers side also does not roll down. I took it to the dealer and they said that its the window regulator and that they will have to order it. Well im still waiting for the part

Check down this forum afew days ago, we had a window thread where most of us had regualtor mechanisms that came unbolted ad/or apart. Repaired under warantee. Mine soent an extra day in the shop so the body shop could reweld some internal panel bits.

if you still hear the motor working than maybe it slipped the tracks completely, cause mine first squeked by the seals, now it does an extra "thump" when i roll up or down from a stationary position.

Warranty that for sure.
