Default kinda complicated tranny swap question...

Current vehicle is a '92 SS with a 5mt. I am putting in a JDM RA 5mt out of a '96 with a 4.11 final drive. My question is, can I use the rear LSD from an '02 WRX 4EAT and the stock rear axels?

Is your SS one of the LSD models? If it's not, my gut instinct is that you need new rear axles...

Even if it was, it isn't the right ratio. It would be a 3.9.......

Are you sure that JDM tranny has a hydraulic clutch setup? Your SS does.

I think the WRX rear diff is different than other 3.9 rear diffs anyways.
