how will 225's look on stock 06 wheels?

can anyone who runs 225's on the stock 2006 WRX wheels post a pic. im looking at getting new tires and i want to see what it would look like if i got 225s. i need a few more months before i get new wheels.

Sorry I don't have pics for you, but at an autocross I saw someone with an '06 on stock rims with the 225 RE070. It looked AWESOME.

The 215 RE92 is a pretty dinky looking tire...

The stock wheel is 7 inches wide and the stock 04 STi wheel is 7.5 inches wide. A 225/45R17 tire will fit fine and the look will depend on the tire. Becareful with wide tires as the high offset of the stock 06 wheel brings the tire very close to the strut.

I got the re960 pole positions put on today.
IMO, they look much better then the 215's.

bump for some pic's, I too need to buy some new tires for my 06 wagon soon and would like to see how 225 look on some stock rims. Im looking at buying some RT-615's this summer just debating on what size.

I think they are a huge improvement over the stockers. Really fills out the fender gap.

fyi, sti pinks on there as well, so that helps too but the 225's definitely look better then the 215's

even though once they're on, they are great set-up..
