Default logging with the street tuner

alright so i ran a search and i didn't really get what i wanted. i was just with my dsm buddy and we were logging runs on the new meth and turbo kit we installed, he was showing me how the dsmlink shows all the stuff to log with, and it has a/f and all the other stuff. So my question was, if i get the street tuner software, how will i be able to log my a/f since since it wouldn't be socketed to my actual ecu? How can i log a/f ratio with the street tuner software?

thanks sorry for the noob question

With ST you can log data from the car's NARROWBAND 02 sensor (not reliable for tuning)if you want to log real AFR's then you need to buy a WIDEBAND 02 sensor and connnect this sensor to the ST.

Street Tuner can read inputs from a few popular widebands. PLX, Innovate, and Zeitronics are three that come to mind.

I have the PLX M300-usb that has the usb cord, you can download the driver for it on cobbs website. Real easy to set up. and i think that plx is also setting up their new wideband to work with streetuner
