Question How to get 300hp on WRX?

I'm considering buying a wrx, but is it currently possible to add around 70-80 hp with mods that don't hamper daily driving?

is there a particular reason why you picked 300hp? or is it just some arbitrary number you wanted to throw out?

Sounds like a good round number to me.

Try Cobb Tuning Stage 1, TurboXS (don't remember the level name) or Vishnu Stage0. Use those as a starting point. Piece of cake to get the WRX to 300+hp as long as you have the money.

then again, thats true for any # hp as long as you have the money . as long as the cash is flowing, you might as well shoot for 400
ooooh, wouldn't that be sweet! too bad i barely have enough money for a k&n filter lol, so im stuck with stock performance

Thanks guys. Actually 300 is the about the current hp on my current car, I just don't want to be running below that in a wrx if I get one.

Another question is: Will the driveline be able to handle 300 horsepower?

The driveline will easily handle 300 horse... I'd be more worried about the transmission.

I'd be even more worried about the ability of the stock suspension to handle the power, that is, keeping it down on the road during spirited driving.

The mod chain, in order:

1. Handling
2. Brakes
3. Power

You can make a WRX almost as fast as you want. All it takes is money. Vendors mentioned by others are a great place to start, but do yourself a favor, and drive a properly broken-in WRX first. It is only then that you'll know how the car is, and what it might need.

Good luck,

Kevin
