Default 06/07 Headlight amber corners

Hey, does anyone have any idea if the corner ambers in the headlights of the 06/07's can be removed? I'm looking to have more of a JDM look to them but I'm not sure if I remove the lights, if I could open them up and remove the corners inside. Any help I'd appreciate.

Search the DIY Koji headlight thread. Same exact concept of baking the headlights to separate the two halves. Then all you need to do is break off that amber corner.

This is one of those things everyone wants to do. Searching usually provides the best answers. I haven't personally done it (yet), but it doesn't look complicated. I'd be sure to allow plenty of time for unexpected complications...

To ditch the amber reflector:

To replace with (IMHO) a slick looking clear counterpart:

Hope this helps...

The amber corner is held by a screw and clipped into place. No need to break anything while removing it =)

Mind you, once you remove it, you'll have a square hole underneath it..

After thats done, get yourself some chrome turning signal bulbs to replace those fugly orange ones =)

Just be careful putting those headlights in your oven! Keep the temp low, and even turn it off while you put your headlights in.. I know from a bad experience! LOL

I just put corner overlays on mine. I didn't really want to bake the lens covers off to remove them.

RAPTR, Where'd you get just the corner overlays?

I've only seen full overlays...
