Default hybrid question

Okay my motor and heads have 80k on them is that too many miles to reuse my stock wrx heads with a 2.5 shortblock? And I know there are threads everywhere but how much am i looking at spending for everything I need?

depends on the condition. i did the swap at 60k and my cars been fine (knock on wood) as far as what you are spending, it depends on used or new parts. to get it running good, you'll need:
OEM gasket set
fuel pump
pink injectors
tuning (i use accessport, and can get you a similar map so you dont have to pay a million dollars for tuning)
i probably forgot something but thats all i can think of
i would recommend a turbo upgrade. the td04 will lose power fairly quick vf 39 will spool up pretty fast and maintain boost a lot better. of course, you should do a IC upgrade, and exhaust, at some point (and a new tranny )

Your heads should be good as long as there is no damage to them internally. Make sure to get your heads machined and you might want to look into upgrading your cams.
