Default Drag racing in Fairbanks!

http://www.fairbanksracinglions.org/

Before the highway gets finished they are hosting a drag racing event on the road, in front of the santa claus house. It is shooting to be labor day weekend but details aren't totally clear as to if it will be a one day or a full weekend event. Thought that some of you might be interested!

this summer if it goes through it will be in on the highway in front of the Santa Clause house in North Pole it will be a quarter miles race with another mile of run off. the drag race will be free to the public and will bring in many thousands of people to watch.

next summer they are working on getting a race facility built in another part of north pole which will build upon a drag strip, road course and other types of automotive racing

any support will be hugely appreciated . the state really needs more options when it comes to racing

there will be another ,meeting next Wednesday at 7:30 at the Fairbanks Elks lodge

Yep. There is a problem with putting the barriers at part of the shoulder of the road so they just chopped it down to 1/8th.

Those plates were mine, I was a all motor b18c (itr) swap EK coupe. There was a primer black EG coupe that had a h22 which was boosted.
