Default RIP Stitch!

So, was on my way home from PT, and apparently the curve out of Ft Meade on Mapes road can get a little slick, started to fish tail, corrected a few times, flipping which way i was sliding, until I finally hit the curb and rolled down the hill...

I ended up with a minor concussion and the Laurel Regional "doctor" *NOTE: Read as: RETARDS* pulling some glass out of my head and derma-bonding it shut, probably from my head breaking the drivers window. The lady at the tow place was a bit surprised I was the driver, and well...walking. So yay? I know, I know, important thing is I'm ok. But...I mean...I rolled my car completely over and landed on the wheels :P The roof of the car was still below the road height. Was...interesting. HUGE thanks to ScoobyDudeMatt for staying even after the paramedics took me away. Plans now are to buy it back from Insurance and strip/sell everything I can, maybe if I'm lucky find an STi or another WRX.

Oh, and in case peeps are wondering, motor looked like it woulda fired right up :P Wasn't there to see how it was pulled out of the woods, so no promises on condition of drivetrain. Seats didnt have any blood or cuts in them that I could see, so STi seats will probably be for sale soon. Call it Stitch Memorial Fund! (I.E. Help Casey get back into a Subie)

Would the buy back even be worth it? How much could you actually part out?

Glad you made it out ok.

Glad you're ok. Been there, done that. It's not fun, but at least you walked away.

As someone who recently had a similar accident, I find it hard to believe it would be worth it. On my car almost nothing survived. You name it, it was bent beyond belief.

That being said... if the drive train still works, you could throw it in my 2.5RS which is for sale and have yourself a pretty good car. Also, you'd be more protected should you decide to roll again

Well I'm glad to see you're ok. Looks like the car took a beating, I can't even imagine what the ride was like.

Dibs on STi front seats if they're still in good condition.

And it looked like your headlights were still looking good and I'm looking to replace mine. So if you part those out, dibs.

Once again, glad to see you're ok.

Ever notice it's when you're NOT messing around that **** happens? :P On a plus, felt a little better when the EMT said I'm the 5th or 6th person to crash in that exact spot since they put that curve in. Feel a lil better. But yeah, I'm ok. Just the usual bumps/bruises and the one gash on the head. Everyone that saw it was like...he's ok?? lol. I was moving just fine even 2 seconds after. God bless Subaru Engineering!

The B Pillar in a Subaru is EXTREMELY strong, here is an example taken from Firehouse Forums...

Plus a look at "What's Inside"...
