Default is I/C waterspray kit worth $300?

ok so i'm gonna get my car dyno tuned in the next week or two. when i called the guy asked if i wanted to also add an IC waterspray kit which could be programmed with my Link ECU for an additional $300. is it worth it? will i even notice a difference? should i just try to make my own with a button to use it? Advice from the turbo gurus please

Sid

Are you running the Link or the Link Plus? The link plus has a built in programable water spray drive.
If you do not have the link plus then using a switch is probably not a great idea. If you use it when the IC is too hot the cold water can crack the IC. It should be hooked up to a TC gauge or some sort of temp sensor in order to avoid damaging the IC.

Well if you have the link plus then don't spend 300 bucks. All you need are some wind shield squerter parts that you can get from a junk yard for a lot less than that.
