Default Canon HV20 HDV Camera

What was going to be an awesome toy for the coming rally cross season will now fund my car to enjoy that season.

I bought a canon HV20 for myself to record my rally cross passes in HD, to my surprise my parents bought me an HV30 for Christmas so the HV20 is no longer needed.

info http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...&modelid=14869

its in good condition, no scratches
includes the following
- HV20 HDV Camera
- Charger
- USB Cable
- User Manual/CD
- HDV Tape

Asking $400 obo

question for interested parties (and a bump) does it have a 3ccd lens?

im just curious, it may not even be important on the HD camera but i know for color quality on mini dv cameras it makes a huge difference.

i will also say this to and and all potentially interested parties. if you are looking to gain sponsorship having a camera is one of the best things you can do. it's easy footage to add to your website after each event (i know it's a bandwidth hog though, host it on youtube and link to it, be creative) and you can slap a sponsors sticker on the dash in view of the camera for the full run. updating your site with results, recaps and FOOTAGE are huge to potential sponsors as without footage there is zero chance for exposure.

sorry for the threadjack, but yeah word to the wise, get a camera

no it has a CMOS sensor, Depending on your application you'll need to research it on your own weather you want CMOS or 3CCD each has its own uses. From personal experience its not a great dark scene camera but for any of your track days or Autocrosses it handles itself well and delivers good color quality for most lit scenarios For a consumer camera it has some great features and a large community with informations and easy mods to help your shots look better.

HD resolution allows for a good deal of flexibility. Youtube and many other video sites are supporting HD footage so you can show off even more details in any video you record to friends, family or the world.
