Default Help guys...is this a bad buy?

I am selling my 2005 Subaru Baja......I had someone ready to buy it but there mom interjected saying it was not a good buy at all. Here are my specs

2005 Subaru Baja Turbo
5-speed
6-disk CD Changer
Silver/Grey (Two tone paint)
80,000 miles.
Basically all the extra options (power windows, power locks, etc...)

It has never had one problem for me...oil always changed at 3,000 miles..just put new brakes on it.

I was selling it for $12,000...which is basically what I owe on it...I paid $20,000 almost three years ago.

Is this really a bad buy in your guys opinion? It has a clean title.

ship- just so i'm clear...the price is to low in your opinion?

I guess I was just a little irritated that the sale didn't go through because of the mom who doesn't really understand cars..

Why are you selling?

A turbo, 5MT, mom involved, hmm, I am thinking that she sees it as too fast for sonny I know that my folks would have driven this car once and either parked it in Oklahoma or never bought it

Reminds me of my neighbor growing up. Folks purchased, on the phone, a 1967 Chevelle, with a 327 in it. Dad took the bus to the dealer and drove it home, about 60 miles, and when he got home, drove it straight into the barn. It sat there for 25 years until dad could not drive anymore, total of 12,000 miles on it.

I'm selling because I'm wanting to pick up a Honda s2000. I kept the baja to have something that can go to the mountain....and now my wifey has her own suby so we go the mountain trips covered still...absolutely had no problems with the car....

grrrrrrrrr...lol

S2000s are wonderful little cars. Incredibly fun.

Cool

Our Bajas have gone UP in resale value since they stopped making them and the increase in gas prices (last summer). For a private party sale, I think you're fairly priced at $12,000...firm. I'd ask $13,000 and not settle for less than $12K

Hey, Dark Pony! This may help you out.

According to the NADA:
Clean Trade In Value=$13,050
Clean Retail Value=$15,525

I did'nt use Kelly because they seem to low-ball the values. I used to work part time for a dealership a few years ago.
