As you saw in the first vid. a 4.02 on grass/dirt.

They backed it up with a 4.60 on snow/ice.

They have since broken both of those records. They are well into the 3's on dirt now.

Turbocharged alcohol burning 4 cylinder sleds based on a 1000cc 5 valve per cylinder Yamaha R1 motor. These guys are quick.

that may be closer to the truth than you think,

I read in a site that they are pulling so many g-forces upon launch that they were bending conventional strength metal handlebars. They had to move to more rigid materials.
