Post What can cause oil leaks in 1998 2.5rs?

Looking into purchasing a 98 2.5rs. There seller told me that there is a oil leak in the car. Just trying to get some ideas on what it could be.

It's probably easier to say what WONT cause an oil leak. It could even be a leak in the transmission, rear differential or CV boot.

Unfortunately I'd suggest you stay away and get a 99RS unless the price is very low.

Have them take it to a shop for a PPI and have the shop tell you exactly where it is.
