I am trying to paint my head/taillights and the spray cans are spitting the paint out of where the nozzle enters the can. I have 3 cans and they are all doing the same thing. Is there a fix to this?

Lick it a little bit; the saliva will help seal the leaks.
![]() (The nozzles are probably clogged; are the cans news? You can often pull a nozzle of a know good can and replace the bad nozzle with it.) |

That's wierd mine didn't do that...
Hold the can upside down and spray for a few seconds to get the air pressure through the tip... but don't do it for too long ![]() |

I tried just about everything I could think of. I even took the tips off of several other cans and tried those. Must be something wrong with the seals.Do you have some left over I can buy off you. I need to put my lights back on but don't want to have to remove the heads again since it is a hug PITA. Let me know. Thanks.

Were they like this new or after you used them? Cause if it was after you used it, you need to remember to clear the heads out after each use (hold upside-down and spray for 5 seconds).

Check the top of the cans for a small black mark that indicates the direction the nozzle should be pointing. (you may have to wipe them a bit)
Not sure why many rattlecans have these, but have noticed the sputtering goes away after I re-align the nozzle with the mark. |
