I am not a fan of the 16" steelies so I need some new tires/rims.
I found some nice rims I like XXR 518 17x7 they have 48mm offset iirc http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...ld&pc=51877807 and for tires I was thinking Kumho Ecsta SPT (KU31) 205/50R17 XL http://www.1010tires.com/tire.asp?ti...)&pc=KU31-8346 Will these fit on my car? Will it change the speedometer/odometer or anything like that? For my fellow canucks out there can I get them cheaper anywhere? Cheers |

It's a 2010 2.5L NA Legacy?
Stock size is 205/60/16 (25.7") You want something like 225/50/17. Would work fine on those rims. I wouldn't recommend the SPT's, they're crap summer tires. If you're looking for really cheap decent summer tires, you can get the general exclaim UHP ($97 on TR) or the sumitomo HTR Z III ($115 on TR) 17x7" rim is fine for 225/50/17. That's what goes on the 3.6R stock. Last edited by mosc; 07-21-2009 at 11:20 PM. |

You sure it's a 2010 Impreza? I don't think they're out yet.

You should try 1010's wheel calculator. It also calculates how slow/fast your speedo will read with your new set vs your oem.
17x7 rims should be fine. I was worried 16X8 +45offset would be much, but it fit's fine. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp |
