Default Old Thread on Aerodynamics

OK, my google-fu is failing me. Somewhere in the dark past of NASIOC, there is a thread about aerodynamics. Contained within that thread are some posts by a guy who lived near a scenic overlook where the wind often blew 70-90mph. He had numerous pictures of yarn taped all over the car showing where the flow was attached vs turbulent. I can find several threads on Impreza aero, but none of them have the posts and pics I'm looking for.

Does anyone remember what I'm talking about and have it bookmarked?

Yeah, I found that thread, but it doesn't have the individual posts I'm looking for.

I remember the thread, but can't seem to find it. The things I remember are pictures of a guy with yarn, pictures of someone who put oil on their car to show streamlines and someone mentioning something about a specific paint that when subjected to different pressures changes colors.

maybe you can use those to narrow down your search terms. I tried but it didn't work.

post 111 talks about doing the tuft test with yarn and a lil about the oil.

Hotrod is the guy that lives by the scenic outlook and was doing the test i just think the pics have been removed.
