Yeah, that's right. I have spawned.

It's been hard keeping a tight lip these past few weeks about Shannon being pregnant. We've known a little over a month, but we wanted to make sure everything was okay before we announced it. Today was our 12 week ultrasound appointment, and we got to see the baby moving around and hear the heartbeat...which was a huge sigh of relief for us...

Now we can finally tell our families and friends.

We've got about 8 more weeks before we find out what the sex is. The ultrasound tech threw a guess out there of it being a boy, but she couldn't be completely sure. We'll just have to wait it out to find out for sure.

The due date is March 30th, but we're hoping for April 1st...that'd be a badass birthday!

See, I've used all this spare time wisely that I've accrued from moving to Alaska...

Congratulations Rusty and Shannon!! Mindy and I figured it out the other night when we over, someone let it slip out, but we didn't say anything since we kept ours private for quite sometime, plus she wasn't drinking! Acutally, Mindy figured it out, I was oblivious to everything, guess preggos can tell when others are as well. When it comes to baby seats, Chicco> Recaro.

I'm sure it was my dad. He has been nothing short of insane about being a grandpa...lol

Welllll, maybe it was him........maybe someone let it slip that they would be "coming back up when the baby is born."

I was dead set on the Recaros when I found out they make car seats. However my smarter half read the reviews and is making me put the Chiccos in the car. At least until the baby can fit in a forward facing car seat, then it's time to match daddy with Recaro.
