Default help: need front diff installed

Hey im looking to see what it would cost and who could do a front diff swap. ive got an 06 wrx 5 speed and i need to get my obx front diff installed. im using it for a 914 porsche project. if you or anybody you know can do this please let me know price and when it can be done thanks andy

I would call Paul or Noah at solid. (801)478.1270 Differentials are not something I would fool with. I have done a couple in teh off road world (jeeps) and I would rather pay someone than DIY. Especially since our front is inside the tranny.

I plan on having someone do it. I wish i could do it myself but when the job is above your skill level you have a pro do it.

I am not sure about subaru's, but with other vehicles there are specific tooling you will need to shim the Diff correctly. I had to borrow a bunch of stuff when I did my last job. It was a rear diff. and I had to take it apart 3 times before it was shimmed correctly. If it were in my tranny like a subaru it would be a complete nightmare taking the tranny off and on that many times.

Call Solid they will hook you up. They do good work.

solid doesnt do front diff installes. thats what paul said when i talked with him
