Mine has taken a month now.
Yesterday I received my third set of turbo piping and it finally fitted OK. What a nightmare. If everything was right the first time. I estimate it would have taken me at least three to four full days to install, that's including TEC-II, new fuel rails/lines/FPR and no install manual. |

For my custom Legacy kit, I would say at least 40 hours under the hood. This was my first turbo install, and I don't recommend doing a custom one the first time. My car was down for three weeks, and had to be towed 4 different occasions for fabrication and exhaust work. To say the least, it took a lot more time than expected. Oh, and it was quite a learning experience.

Alan said it right. I think his was down for what, four months now? But, he is the only person in the U.S. with a Legacy B4 TT swapped into an Impreza. Please, someone bug him to post more info. about his project, simply amazing. And I owe him many thanks for all the help he has given me with my project, though my car is kind of parked right now.

I'm sure Alan and myself can surely try. Between us both, I would say we know quite a bit about putting on turbo, and each of us has "specialties" when installing. Im the R and he's the D.
Depending on when you start your project Kevin, I'm am sure we could give you a hand. Graham |
