Smile JNA performance catback ehxuast

Hey everyone theres a lot of people selling new exhaust that are stealth and not to loud to avoid cops and tickets. Ive been looking for that and before the only option was something like the cobb or aps which for just a cbe their prices were high.
I bought my cbe from jna performance and im completely satisfied with it.
I installed mine with kartboy xL hangers if you dont it still fits fine its just a lil close to the rear bumper.
Install goes as any cbe does take off put on, it came with 2 gaskets and 4 bolts. I couldnt use the 2 to bolt it to my stock dp because the stock dp holes are two small. So i downsized the bolts a lil there but saved the bigger bolts for when i get my erz dp.
It looks awesome the tip isnt huge and not angeled so cops shouldnt notice it to much.
It sounds great will quiet when you want it to be but if you push it she can roar and you'll hear the rumble you want.

Install was easy
Full 3 inch doesnt taper down
stainless steel
price is great and affordable
stealth look
non resonated mid pipe
i love it

NO NO NO, not our own catback. NO JNA logo, NOT JNA made.
We have been selling these for sometime, we stock them-tested them-sell them.

I don't suggest the ERZ downpipe. I thought it made no difference that it was eBay until I switched to an Invidia divorced downpipe that I found used for cheap... sounded better and made car power feel smoother.

And what the hell is going on with this exhaust. I bought the same thing from SpeedTech and they made it look like it was their own exhaust??? Where does this thing come from?

We have been working on providing a cost effective solution for the public. We've been selling these local since October, had great results so we brought it to larger forums.

We've tested these and provide our own picks to show quality.
As far as others, I can not speak on how they want to market their exhausts.

Thanks,

Alan

I have the same exhaust, but didn't get it from JNA. Its a great exhaust for the price thats for sure. the fit is maybe only a B, but it works and doesn't rub. I have mine on with stock hangers and I love how it tucks up tight to the bumper. Be advised, in a couple months it will get a bit louder, but for me it came to perfect volume.

I have bought things from JNA before, so +1 to them for not saying it was theirs!

Hey I am interested in this exhaust also. I really want to bring out the boxer rumble. Invidia sounds the best but the drone would drive me nuts. This has no drone evidently and sounds pretty good. In your honest opinion does this exhaust have a mean enough sound? Like does it really rumble and do the car justice? I would mate it with a helix catted downpipe most likely if that changes your opinion. Thanks man.

Free shipping?

I just ordered mine last night. Probably going to get it coated texture black. I'll post up pics/review once I get it installed.

Forgot to make an update, but here it is on my '05 WRX getting some numbers on e85.
Exhaust has held up extremely well, isn't obnoxious and provides a good free-flowing exhaust.

My Review:
First thing I noticed was that this exhaust looks very similar to a Cobb, which I love! The tip isn’t big or fart can like and definitely keeps it low key. The welds look good and overall it is a very quality piece. It also came with all hardware and gaskets, another plus. The only thing is that depending on what down pipe you have, you may need to use different bolts for it. My Cobb DP had smaller holes so I simply reused what I had. Also, I used my stock hangers and they do work but the exhaust sits pretty close to the bumper, which is ok with me. But XL hangers are available if you need them at a pretty decent price.

Upon start up and idle, it’s somewhat tame but still brings out the boxer rumble. Once driving, it’s a VERY great sounding exhaust. It’s not horribly loud but definitely has a great note to it. You know a subie when you hear one and this doesn’t disappoint. It’s a nice, just loud enough tone which shouldn’t get you pulled over, unless the cops already know you and are gunning for you! It’s also not raspy at all. I’ve heard a sound clip before I purchased it and it honestly didn’t do it justice. It sounds WAY better in person. Inside, it actually is not loud at all. No drone what so ever on the highway either. So you can still listen to your music if the exhaust note isn’t music enough to your ears already.

So after all is said and done, the install is easy, the exhaust is AWESOME and the service I got with Justin at JNA Performance was TOP NOTCH! I’d recommend this to everyone!

Just got the CBE on my WRX yesterday... Holy crap. I wasn't sure what to expect for the low price, and I was prepared to have to spend a few bucks at an exhaust shop to have it doctored into working order. I had the stock WRX can on the back, and the difference was immediate and incredible. Endless rev-limit donuts at the dirt crossroads never get old.

The welds, workmanship, and quality are astoundingly good. No dings or scratches. The hangers mate up to stock positions and the axle-back bolts up to my TurboXS stealthback midpipe, which was my biggest worry! The included hardware is some pretty great little 17mm head bolts with washers and a pair of respectable gaskets. I can imagine that there's a grandmaster metal-worker and his apprentices somewhere in Vietnam making car components for dirt cheap. Yay, industrial growth!

I'd seen the pics of how close the outlet was to the bumper where people used the stock exhaust hangers, so I ordered a set of Kartboy XLs from JNA along with the exhaust. I got those suckers on there, started up the machine and just grinned for a few hours.

The sound easily ranks among the big brands in terms of quality. None of that hollowness you get from the coffee cans, but loud enough to enjoy a good rip to 7k with the windows down. And like another person said before, there is absolutely no drone and the sound is appropriately toned down inside the cabin. I was looking at figuring out how to get a $500 Maddad axleback or a new H&S shipped from the UK, and man am I glad I didn't.

Here are some photos from after a spirited test drive on the dirt roads after a successful, smooth install. (Ignore my dog's tail in the first one... She was pretty excited, too.)

My only complaint is how low the bend in the axleback is. As you can see in the 3rd pic, it's *significantly* lower than the diff for which impact guards are made! I'm going to have to be aware of stumps and holes so I don't crush my pipe and end up with an asthmatic smoker's exhaust note.

Alan at JNA Performance gave fast responses to messages and fast shipping. Great service overall. Keep it up!

Well, I got pulled over this morning on the way to work in torrington, CT. As with any traffic stop I shut my car off and wait for the officer to come over before I open the glove box. Asks for the normal shiz, I give it to him. Then he asks me to start the car and rev it to about 2k, I do so and he has this puzzled look on his face. So I explain how I had a different exhaust on (straight pipe) the previous 2 weeks but couldnt take how loud it was (white lie). I told him I installed JNA's exhaust last night and it was soo much better still have all the power yet without the excessive noise. He told me that I was very lucky to be pulled over after the install and tells me there were a few complaints from other Torrington, CT officers about the excessive noise(explains why a few followed me onto the highway the previous days). He then tells me that exhaust is "definately ok" and not anywhere near as bad as the other exhaust. He walks away and checks my record (clean) comes back and tells me to have a nice day!

JNA's exhaust saved me from a costly ticket and a general PITA inspection. Thanks Justin!

Thanks for choosing JNA!
