Default "COBB Guys" Take on SCCA Solo National Tour

The 2010 SCCA SOLO National Tour came to Texas and COBB Tuning Plano was there to talk to fellow enthusiasts and competitors. COBB Tuning employees Rob Irish, Jon Pomrenke and Chris Fleming competed in the hotly contested STU and SM classes finishing 2nd, 4th and 3rd respectively. Our 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 test mule was also out running as “sweep”, everyone who had a chance to experience the new “Speed” seemed impressed with the little hotrod.

COBB Tuning soon became the “go to” guys for race fuel as Rob and Jon had carted their supply of the race juice down from Utah. COBB Tuning Plano awarded free alignments to all 1st place street tire class winners and capped off the Saturday night social with a BBQ dinner for all 200+ competitors and national staff.

Look for more “COBB Guys” at future national tour events as Rob and Jon continue to campaign their STI for top honors in national SCCA Solo II Autocross!

About damn time you guys came back to participate in solo (especially that Fleming hack) . Tell him there wasn't enough snow this year up here to go bombing through Rehoboth, & 1/2 of it was washed away in the flood last week.

P.s. It's just "Solo" now. Not Solo 1 or Solo 2.

It's been a loooong time since I've seen the Cobb guys autocrossing. Heck, I think the last time I saw them, there was a Forester XT in ESP at a Houston Tour....
