Default 3/8 life crisis car

Hi All,

Looking for a not-quite mid life crisis car. Any suggestions? 2 seater and 2 door. Used is fine (link craigslist if you like). Budget is sub 50k. Model/Year suggestions are also appreciated like "don't buy 2003 of X car"

Need it for a buddy, he is 6'4" so no s2000's

Thanks!

Well, here is the list of fun 2 seaters that I would buy if I can afford a second car:

Lotus Elise
Toyota MR-2 Spyder
Mazda Miata

Not sure if he would be able to fit in any of those cars though.

On a side note we have a 93 RX-7 for sale that is less than half of his budget

Used Porsche would be the way to go. From the States or even locally you kind find a nice selection. On the other end of the spectrum there are plenty of late 60's muscle cars on CL for sale.

911 Twin Turbo. Every car enthusiast should own a Porsche 911 at some point. I'm still working off my WRX but I will get one.

Thanks guys. That 996 looks good I'll run these by him. For you Porsche fans out there what's something to avoid in terms of model/year?

Just tell him to buy a rally car. 2 seats is standard, 2 doors optional.
