I'm not 100% sure what's next. I'm sure I'll kick myself for selling the R32 as soon as it's gone just like all my other cars, but I'm an idiot and can never make up my mind

Also, the damaged wheel was replaced with a factory refurbished wheel. It's not perfect which pissed me off, but it's pretty close, just a very minor nick or two.

bump, and to answer a few questions i've gotten so far
- factory warranty is good for 50k miles bumper to bumper, 60k miles on the powertrain. i'm calling vw today to see if the extra certified pre-owned warranty transfers with the car
- the launch control is a STOCK function, the engine is completely stock with no bolt ons or reflashes
- the DSG transmission can be shifted either by using the paddle shifters or by moving the shift lever to the right then moving forward or backward (+/-)
- the headlights auto level based on inclines/declines and when slowing down or speeding up, but there isn't a way to manually level them inside the cabin.

for those that might not be aware, the R32 has one of the best factory exhaust notes on any vehicle that is <$50k.

good luck with the sale, I have been unsuccessful in convincing the wife to get one of these even though she misses her mk5 GTI dearly.

I would venture to say even any vehicle under 100K. The VR6 mated with an aftermarket catback is heavenly.

yep, had a GTI with a vr6 and a neuspeed catback, one of the best exhaust sounds ever.
