Default After market hood scoop for legacy?

ok legacy guys im going to need your help on this one. A friend of mine is working on a ej20 swap on a legacy GT. The stock scoop is not large enough for proper air flow to the intercooler. Does anyone know where i can find a larger scoop for the hood, and yes i did do a search. Thanks

Since most of the scoop is molded into the hood, this might be a tall order. May want to check into the SYMS scoop that SPO sells. It looks taller, but I'm unsure how it modifies the stock scoop.

... Or, you could put the pressure down on GTBGuy and get a CF hood with a larger scoop.

I could get you an Impreza hood scoop for not more than
$200 CAD. I put one on my Legacy it looks good.

Sweetboy

so you are saying you can swap out the RS and legacy scoops to eachother without any major modifications?

Could you post a picture? I'd like to see what an Impreza scoop looks like on a Legacy.

Question

I'm not a body expert, but I don't see a problem with doing that.
My Legacy didn't have a hood scoop on it to begin with. My body shop cut a hole in the hood and stuck the hood scoop on. Ever heard of MAX POWER magazine (UK edition)? They always have cars with Impreza hood scoops on them like Honda's VW's, even trucks and they look good. I'll try and get a pic on my Legacy as soon as I can. It might be better if you email me and then I'll email you back with a pic. I can never get my pics to load up on this forum.
