Default problem with aggressive Rota fitment...

Hey all,

I just sold my Gforce 18x9 +35 5x100's for some Grids, 18x9.5, +38 5x100's. I was told by the Australian vendor that these would clear Brembos without mods....

They don't. And the wheel fitting place scratched up one of my lovely candy Brembo's as well trying to get it to fit. I ended up having to run 5mm spacers on the front and 3mm spacers on the rear, which is not what I wanted to do.

The vendor claims that these do clear Brembo's without spacers and that he has pics (which I am yet to receive). Could he just have pics of these size wheels on cars that ARE all running spacers?

Any help/insight appreciated!

Cheers,
Sime

if you asked around in the aggressive thread in members car gallery, its pretty common knowledge that those dont clear brembos without spacers.

next time order from Wheel dude, Dan is very familiar with subaru fitments (and the number 1 volume selling rota dealer).

Yeah, it's common knowledge that they don't clear them.
