Talking I made the Semis at IDRC Bandimere

Yes it is true. In Super Comp, the quickest car bracket, yesterday I made it to the semifinals and then I red lit to lose to a Galant.
I was racing all the badass Supras and RX-7s. My dial in was 13.77 and my rts were were from .5 to .7. I ran 13.77 to 13.9. What a blast! there must have been 600 imports running and I came in third in the quickest bracket.
I am so happy right now. I treasured my 13 second timeslips, but now I have a racer payout slip and a HUGE muhphukin trophy!!!
I also got to meet Shiv in person and see the TEC3 low boost 9sec honda he is working with. I am running stock exhaust and can't wait for more power.
I may not have the quickest Rex, but yesterday I was one of the best drivers in a damn quick one. How is that for representin for my I-Club homies??? Thanks everyone for all your help makin my ride a Supra spankin badass. Hopefully we will see more Subarus in the staging lanes in the near future.

Default Hooray!

Congrats! I LOVE bracket racing (like some of you already know). It's fun especially when you get the trophies and the payout money. Wait until you get a contigency prize. I remember NOS sent me a $100 check for making it to the semi-final once. Even my wife was like Good luck in the future!

Default Now for next year

Well It looks like your the first WRX to trophy at a major event in Colorado, folks that run at Pueblo, correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess our goal for next year would be a WRX vs WRX final.

Yeah that's the ticket

I'd love to see the trophy since I couldn't get out of work, didn't get a chance to see the hardware.

Great job!!

With a little luck see you wed.

That correction factor is good for NA cars not boosted cars, the boost correction is much smaller I believe. Anyways, I saw this car and it was killing, and not making much noise to do it. The event was pretty weak with all the 16 and over hondas there. Something like 310-320! there will be more imprezas at the next meet in sept. later

Default correction factors

The current NHRA correction factor for supercharged/turbocharged at Bandimere is :

Convert ET to sea level x .9702
Convert MPH to sea level x 1.0281

Convert sea level ET to Bandi x 1.0307
Convert sea level MPH to Bandi x .9726

All caveats about the applicability of correction factors apply, these will give you a "best estimate" of a corrected time under identical strip conditions, and same environmental conditions at the other altitude.

YMMV

Talking

I ran a 13.814 with the help of Master Harvey at Bandimere tonight. I tried to push it a bit and hit fuel cut in third gear
. I had a 60' time of 1.958 and a trap speed of 97.94 mph. Thanks for all the help tonight Harv. This was the first time ever running my rex.

Sorry to hijack, just wanted to thank Harvey for the help and support tonight.
