There is a rev limit function of the AP if you hit the RPM that you have it set to (under "Monitor" -> "Set Rev Warning"). Can you describe what the flashing looks like and how often it does it?

Whenever the numbers on the screen change like boost psi or any other number. The background will flash. I check the rev limit warning
