Default No SMJ on Harness?

My 02-03 JDM WRX harness doesn't seem to have an SMJ. Everything removed from clip by me personally, so nothing cut or anything like that. Motor harness still on motor, everything that was connected to those plugs runs through grommets in firewall or behind fender brace and directly to ECU or Fuse Box. Then I have a smaller harness that connected at the passenger side near glovebox and looks to run to the rear or fuel pump?? Just seemed odd after reading that the SMJ was standard on the Subaru harnesses. Anyone else have experience with this? Or am I missing something?

The SMJ was short lived. It became two plugs (B100 / B200) after a short while.

Awesome good to know. I thought it looked like I had everything to make things work as obviously a plastic connector isn't gonna stop a wire from going to where it needs to go. Thanks for the info.
