Default HELP ID-ing STI JDM ECU

Finally got the ECU I ordered back in the end of Nov and Im not sure its what I ordered. I need a V7 or V8 STi ECU for the EJ207 long block Im planing on putting in my 03 WRX wagon. If anyone can ID it or direct me to a thread/web source to do so it would be greatly appreciated. I poked around on Google an here on NASIOC and have not found anything to confirm it.

HERE IS WHAT IS ON THE ECU:

S9
22611AL370
112300-2221
12v

Use the last 5 characters in the ECU code. In your case, it is AL370. According to the website linked above, the ECU should be from an '06 USDM STI.

Thanks.....That is defiantly not a JDM v7or v8 ECU then.

Now its up to Paypal to get this straightened out.

If my assumption of it not working with a JDM EJ207 long block ( AVCS heads ) in a 02-03 WRX please let me know

I'm not the Guru on this, but iirc the USDM STi ecu is 32 bit, and the JDM v7/v8s are 16, so no....it wont work, period.

Sorry for your misfortune, bro. Maybe PP will make it right.

AH581 is what you would be looking for v8 STI EJ207DW5CR.
