I have an 05 sti.
When I bought the car I found a Bosch 15019 in the trunk still in the box. After talking to Cobb they told me I needed to buy a wideband O2 and run the controller to my PC along with AP to datalog. So I bought the popular AEM UEGO got it all wired up. Researching the Bosch sensor, it looks like a direct fit wideband. If so, why couldn't I use it, and just datalog everything through my AP? Why did Cobb tell me to buy a different one? Any answers? Last edited by franknbeans; 02-25-2012 at 09:19 AM. |

To log AFR using the AccessTUNER software, you would need to use a compatible wideband O2 sensor with PC interface. We have built special files that integrate the O2 sensor with ATR, and unfortunately there are some sensors we don't support.

Can't you also datalog with AP also?
What is the difference between factory wideband logging to AP and aftermarket logging to ATR? I'm not upset just trying to understand. Thanks Ian |

The factory one has its limitations. Not as quick to respond, not a true wide band.
